AIDESEP, the Interethnic Association for the Development of the Peruvian Amazon, serves as the voice for indigenous peoples across the Peruvian Amazon. Representing nine regional organizations and over 2,400 communities, AIDESEP's mission is to advocate for the collective rights of these communities while promoting their vision for sustainable development in harmony with their cultural practices.

The organization actively engages in various programs that address critical issues such as education, healthcare, climate change, and indigenous economic development. AIDESEP also focuses on monitoring and protecting indigenous territories from external threats, including illegal activities and environmental degradation.
