AI Engineering from Scratch is a comprehensive, free, and open-source curriculum designed to teach the foundational principles of artificial intelligence through hands-on learning. This initiative focuses on building every core AI algorithm from the ground up, covering a vast range of topics from linear algebra to autonomous agents, using programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, Rust, and Julia. Unlike traditional materials that present AI concepts in a fragmented manner, this curriculum serves as a cohesive framework, ensuring learners understand the mathematical theory behind algorithms before applying them in practical scenarios.

Each lesson culminates in creating a reusable artifact, such as a prompt or an agent, reinforcing the learning process. Authored with AI support and meticulously reviewed for accuracy, the curriculum is grounded in primary sources. The platform is maintained by Rohit Ghumare and a dedicated community of contributors, ensuring it remains accessible and free of charge forever, with no hidden fees or upsells. Engage with the curriculum through its catalog, roadmap, or GitHub repository to enhance your AI expertise.
