About Asia Investor Group on Climate Change
Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC) is Asia's leading network for institutional investors' response to climate risk. With 72 members and over $32 trillion in global AUM, AIGCC connects, collaborates, and advocates on behalf of its members. As a not-for-profit organization, AIGCC focuses on activating investors, encouraging high-emission businesses to transition to net zero, and advocating for policies that unlock capital for climate solutions.
AIGCC offers several key strategies to deliver its mission. Investor Practice & Capacity Building provides capacity building through working groups, peer-to-peer dialogues, and guidance on global climate investment initiatives. Stewardship & Corporate Engagement ensures institutional investors engage with major emitters in Asia through programs like Climate Action 100+ and the Asia Utilities Engagement Program. Policy & Advocacy contributes to collective advocacy by engaging with policymakers, making public advocacy, and convening high-level roundtables.
AIGCC operates in eleven key markets across Asia and encourages its members to join working groups focused on various thematic areas such as Paris Aligned Investment, Energy Transition, and Forestry & Land Use, among others. AIGCC's goal is to accelerate climate practice and advocate for climate progress in order to transition to a net-zero future.
