Alianza por la Inversión de Impacto México (AMIIX) is a network of organizations working to advance impact entrepreneurship and investment in Mexico. Its purpose is to help address social and environmental challenges by promoting investment that combines financial objectives with intentional, measurable impact. AMIIX is a member of the Global Steering Group for Impact Investment (GSG) and represents Mexico within this international network, which spans more than 35 countries. Established in 2015, Mexico’s National Advisory Board adopted the name Alianza por la Inversión de Impacto México.
The organization promotes impact investment as an approach to social, environmental, and economic transformation. It explains the model through three core principles: seeking competitive financial returns, setting specific social or environmental objectives, and measuring the results achieved. Through its website, AMIIX shares information and resources about impact investment, including digital materials and content connected to its annual summits. It also offers a newsletter for updates, documents, tools, and developments in social investment in Mexico and global trends.
