AikiDF

AikiDF, the Aikido Association of Brasília, is a martial arts organization dedicated to teaching and sharing Aikido in Brazil’s Federal District. Its website introduces the art as a method of self-defense focused on responding to unprovoked attacks, using centered movement, inner energy, and circular techniques rather than initiating attacks. It also provides background on Aikido’s Japanese origins and its founder, Morihei Ueshiba, whose practice drew on several earlier martial arts.

AikiDF offers instruction through its dojo and shares information about its responsible instructor and technical program. The association’s activities include seminars, practical training events, belt examinations, rank promotions, demonstrations, and year-end gatherings. Its site features photographs, videos, articles, and explanations of Aikido principles, along with links to the Brazilian Federation of Aikido (FEBRAI) and other Aikido resources. AikiDF presents itself as a local hub for students and practitioners seeking training, events, and information about the discipline. The association can be contacted by phone or email for inquiries about its activities.
