Aikido Opava

Aikido Dojo Opava is a martial arts club in Opava, Czech Republic, welcoming children, teenagers, adults, and complete beginners. The club offers regular aikido training in a relaxed, non-competitive environment, focusing on movement and supporting physical and mental fitness rather than sporting performance. Newcomers can try their first session free, and no special equipment is needed at the start; wooden training weapons can be borrowed at the dojo.

Children’s classes are available from age six, with sessions offered up to four times a week so families can choose days that suit them. Teenagers and adults train twice weekly, and older children from age twelve may join their group; in some cases, younger children can train alongside a parent. Classes take place at the dojo on Krnovská Street in Opava.

Led by instructors Vendula Klimešová, a fourth-dan aikido teacher, and Matěj Klimeš, a first-dan instructor, the club also organizes seminars, summer aikido camps, and other events. Photos, videos, and current updates are shared on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
