Aikido Sekai dojo

Aikido Sekai Dojo is a traditional Japanese martial arts club in Prague 6, offering aikido training for adults, teenagers, and children. The dojo welcomes complete beginners as well as experienced practitioners, with no special fitness level or previous martial arts experience required. Classes emphasize calm movement, coordination, concentration, balance, mutual respect, and personal development rather than competition or pressure to perform. Children and teenagers learn physical skills, attention, cooperation, and respect, while adult training also supports fitness and stress relief.

Experienced instructors lead sessions in a friendly, supportive environment, adapting to participants’ individual pace. The teaching draws particularly on the aikido instruction of Hiroshi Tada, a 9th-dan Aikikai master. The club is affiliated with the Czech Aikido Association, enabling members to take recognized kyu and dan examinations. Regular classes are held for different age groups, and the dojo also offers beginner courses and seminars. New members can join throughout the year.
