Aikido-Taiji-Hamburg

Aikido-Taiji-Hamburg e.V. is a Hamburg-based dojo and association dedicated to the practice of Aikido and Taiji, also known as Taichi. Under the guidance of Ken Morinaga, the organization brings traditional Japanese and Chinese movement arts into a modern, respectful training environment. Its classes explore movement, balance, flexibility, concentration and mindful practice, with the aim of supporting inner calm and awareness both on and off the mat. Beginners and experienced practitioners are welcome, making the training accessible to people at different stages of their practice.

The dojo offers regular Aikido and Taiji sessions on multiple days of the week, with some classes requiring advance registration. Prospective students can arrange a trial session by contacting the organization by email. Alongside its training program, Aikido-Taiji-Hamburg shares information about its instructors, activities and practice through videos, images and downloadable materials. The training room in Rothestraße is also available to rent outside scheduled class times. The association presents its practice as a shared path toward composure, mobility and personal development.
