Aïkido

The Association Francophone d'Aïkido (AFA) is a premier organization dedicated to promoting the practice of Aikido across Belgium. Located at Rue Joseph Stevens 7, in Brussels, the AFA serves as the recognized federation for Aikido by the Ministry of the Community of French-speaking Belgium (CFWB). With an emphasis on harmony, Aikido is a dynamic martial art suitable for everyone—men, women, and children alike. The AFA offers various training programs, focusing on non-violent techniques and the mastery of weapons such as the Boken, Jo, and Tanto.

The organization also hosts workshops and seminars, including advanced training sessions led by highly respected instructors like T. Miyamoto Shihan. The AFA provides access to official certifications recognized across Europe, ensuring a comprehensive educational experience for practitioners. With strong ties to both national and international bodies, the AFA fosters a community built on respect, integrity, and personal growth through martial arts.
