Aiki-Fit is an aikido club and dojo based in Częstochowa, with additional training locations in Kamienica Polska and Poraj. It welcomes children, young people and adults, including beginners and those returning to physical activity. Classes are adapted to participants’ age, fitness and experience, with an emphasis on safe, gradual learning, respect and a supportive atmosphere.
The club offers aikido and self-defence training, including sessions with traditional training weapons, as well as activities for children in schools and preschools. Training can develop coordination, fitness, confidence and awareness of how to fall safely, while introducing participants to Japanese customs and dojo etiquette. The program also includes family sessions, children’s events and holiday workshops combining Japanese and English activities. English-language classes and courses are available at the club, which also offers hourly room rental and gift vouchers.
Most sessions are led by founder and chief instructor Jacek Engel, a Shidoin and fifth-dan Aikido Aikikai instructor and examiner.
