Aikido Bertioga

Aikido Bertioga, also known as Kokoro Dojo, is a martial arts school dedicated to teaching and practising Aikido in a welcoming, respectful environment. Its instructors serve students of different ages and experience levels, with an emphasis on personalized guidance, safe learning and personal development. The dojo’s principal instructor, Jefferson, brings long-term commitment to the study and practice of Budō. Instructor Sibile Sabo has practised Aikido for more than 20 years and focuses on teaching children and teenagers.

The school offers classes for beginners, introducing the foundations of Aikido, as well as training for more experienced students. Sessions may include warm-ups and stretching, basic techniques, self-defence, breathing, and Nage, Katame and Ukemi practice. Training also covers traditional weapons such as the jō, bokken and tanto. Aikido Bertioga presents the art as a way to redirect an attack rather than rely on brute force, while developing practical self-defence skills, strength, flexibility, coordination, concentration and emotional balance. The dojo provides contact by phone, WhatsApp and email.
