The Aikido Club Šumperk is dedicated to the practice and teaching of Aikido, a non-aggressive Japanese martial art focused on personal development and self-defense. Founded in the principles established by O-Sensei Morihei Ueshiba, the club emphasizes the harmonious growth of individuals through physical training. Aikido teaches practitioners to leverage their body's energy and the force of an attacker without resorting to violence.

Catering to both children and adults across various age groups, the club offers training sessions at the Sever Sports Center located at Temenická 5 in Šumperk. Classes are designed to promote physical health, mental clarity, and self-confidence, making it a perfect fit for everyone, regardless of experience level. New members are welcome to join a trial session free of charge. With no competitive aspect, Aikido promotes inner peace and balance, aligning with Ueshiba’s belief that true victory lies in overcoming one's own desire for conflict.
