Aïkikaï de Thônes is an Aikido club based in Thônes, in the Aravis valley of Haute-Savoie, near Annecy, France. Founded in 1984, the club brings together around forty practitioners and welcomes adults and young people to train in its dojo. Its teaching follows the traditions associated with Aikido founder O Sensei Ueshiba, Master Tamura and the French Aikido and Budo Federation (FFAB).
The club has four instructors, with ranks ranging from 2nd to 6th Dan, who guide adult and youth classes. Adult sessions take place on Monday evenings, Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings; classes for young people aged 7 to 15 are held on Wednesday afternoons. Alongside regular training, Aïkikaï de Thônes shares videos, photographs and information about regional seminars, and organizes training at Angon beside Lake Annecy several times a year.
The club also announces summer courses in Thônes and provides practical information about membership, required licensing and medical certificates, and how to visit the dojo
