AIL Benevento

AIL Benevento OdV “Stefania Mottola” is the Benevento section of the Italian Association against Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma. As a volunteer-led nonprofit, it works to support people affected by blood cancers and their families, while contributing to scientific research and raising awareness in the local community.

Its assistance services include psychological support, home-based pediatric care, medical transport, and “Soggiorno Sereno,” alongside information about hematology centers and access to requested services. The association also offers training and opportunities for volunteers to take part in its work.

Fundraising activities include AIL’s Christmas Stars and Easter Eggs campaigns, the Fitwalking for AIL charity walk, five-per-thousand donations, bequests, and other solidarity purchases. The organization also promotes institutional awareness campaigns, shares news and personal stories, and organizes community events focused on prevention, blood donation, and solidarity. Its support for research includes funding projects and initiatives, including work connected with the GIMEMA group and a scholarship opportunity related to multiple myeloma. Through these activities, AIL Benevento brings together patients, families, volunteers, donors, and local partners.
