AIL Sezione Vercelli Carolina Banfo ODV is a volunteer-led local organization dedicated to supporting people affected by blood cancers and their families. Founded on 22 November 2005 by people whose lives had been touched by hematological diseases, the section has grown to more than 150 members. It works to turn that experience into practical, ongoing help for patients in the Vercelli area.
The organization supports scientific research and care for people affected by leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma, and explains how donations are used to fund research and assistance locally. Its activities include free services for hematology patients and their relatives, alongside community events that raise awareness and funds. These include AIL Easter egg and Christmas star campaigns, local gatherings and sporting initiatives. Volunteers also offer opportunities for the public to get involved and contribute.
AIL Vercelli invites people to support its mission through donations and fundraising activities. Its goal is to help create a future without blood cancers while providing concrete assistance and hope to patients and families today.
