AIODIM, the Italian Association for Obesity and Diabetes in Movement, is a nonprofit association that supports people affected by obesity, diabetes and related metabolic conditions, as well as their families and others interested in these issues. It also engages people at risk of diabetes or cardiovascular disease, healthcare bodies, public authorities and other associations. Active in Lombardy and Abruzzo, AIODIM aims to expand its educational and awareness activities to other regions.
The association promotes education, training and prevention, helping members understand these conditions and learn how to prevent them or live with them. Its activities include events and expert-led information sessions on diabetes care, glucose monitoring, physical activity, nutrition, kidney health and other related topics. AIODIM also shares accessible health information through articles and short educational content, and offers free nutritional consultations with body-composition assessments at selected events. Members can access partner offers, including exclusive rates on tax services, and find information about membership, events and ways to support the association through donations.
