AIPC – Associazione Italiana Piante Carnivore is a non-profit cultural association established in 1998, dedicated to promoting and sharing knowledge about carnivorous plants. Based in Povoletto (UD), AIPC offers a range of services including a comprehensive online library, cultivation guides for various species such as Dionaea and Nepenthes, and a dedicated forum for members to exchange information and experiences.
The association actively participates in conservation projects aimed at safeguarding Italy's native carnivorous plant species. AIPC also publishes the AIPCMagazine, which features articles on cultivation techniques, habitat exploration, and the latest research in the field. To support its initiatives, AIPC sells branded merchandise, including t-shirts and bags, with proceeds directed towards its conservation efforts.
Members can also participate in events such as national meetings held at botanical gardens, which provide invaluable opportunities for networking and learning about the latest developments in carnivorous plant conservation and cultivation.
