AIPD Anzio Nettuno is the Anzio–Nettuno branch of the Italian Down Syndrome Association, established to support people with Down syndrome and their families in the community where members live and grow. Its work focuses on developing autonomy at every age, with activities designed around participants’ individual needs rather than simply filling their time. Programs include Merendiamo for children up to age eight, Esploratori for ages nine to thirteen, the Club for young people aged fourteen to eighteen, and ATL for adults aged eighteen and over.

The branch also runs a supported employment service, SIL, which helps adults pursue work opportunities and supports businesses interested in employing them. Beyond its programs, AIPD Anzio Nettuno promotes awareness and understanding among schools, public institutions, employers, and the wider community, while providing support to families. The association operates from a renovated premises made available by the Municipality of Anzio, where it continues to develop spaces and resources for its users
