AIPD del Trentino is the Trentino section of the Italian Association of People with Down Syndrome, a nonprofit organisation working in support of people with Down syndrome and their families. Based in Trento, it promotes opportunities for participation, learning and greater autonomy through educational and community activities.
Its programmes include pathways to independent living, initiatives on relationships and sexuality, a school observatory, and S.A.L., a service that accompanies people in their journey towards employment. The association also offers activities focused on sport and health, as well as active citizenship.
