Army.ca is an online community focused on Canada’s military, bringing together current and former service members, recruits, military families, and people interested in defence. Its forums support discussion of the Canadian Armed Forces, current affairs, international security, military history, operations, recruiting, training, and military administration. Dedicated sections cover the Army, Navy, joint forces, occupations, equipment, weapons, vehicles, communications, health services, military police, cadets, and veterans’ benefits.

Members can ask questions, share personal experiences, discuss career and training pathways, and exchange practical knowledge about service life and military topics. The site also offers reference resources, including a wiki, military history features, quotations, and explanations of military terms and acronyms. Its media and resources areas provide spaces to browse and review community contributions, while news and current-operations forums encourage discussion of developments in Canada and abroad. Army.ca is a discussion and information-sharing network rather than an official recruiting or government service; it notes that advice in its recruits-only forum may be inaccurate or incomplete.
