Air Style

Air & Style is an international freestyle snowboarding festival and competition that began in 1994. Known for combining athletic performance, music and entertainment, its events bring riders and spectators together at winter venues, including Innsbruck and, at different times, Seefeld, Munich and Beijing. Snowboarders compete with technically demanding tricks, including spins and aerial rotations, while judges reward the most impressive performances.

The festival has grown alongside the sport, with advances in riders’ skills, snowboards, ramps and take-off structures enabling bigger jumps and more ambitious combinations. Alongside snowboarding, past events have featured live performances by well-known musicians and bands, as well as activities such as motocross shows, a rookie challenge and freestyle snowmobile cross. Air & Style is presented as a celebration of style, creativity and the excitement of winter sport, attracting large crowds and helping showcase freestyle snowboarding to an international audience.
