Nuuta-, Ruta- ja Kortejärven suojeluyhdistys ry is a volunteer-led environmental association working to protect and improve the lakes and waterways of Urjala, Finland. For more than 25 years, it has focused on the Nuutajärvi, Rutajärvi and Kortejärvi waterway, which carries water from much of the Urjala area. The association aims to preserve healthy waters and shoreline environments for future generations, and welcomes individuals and businesses who want to support that work.

Its activities include waterway restoration and management projects, such as aquatic vegetation cutting, drainage-water treatment and catchment-area planning. The association also shares information about water quality, water-level regulation, water analyses and local nature sites. Residents and visitors can follow updates on algae, ice and other environmental observations, and submit their own reports. Practical guidance is available for property owners, cottage users, hikers and boaters, covering topics such as wastewater, shoreline work and responsible recreation. Through membership, events, communications and hands-on conservation, the association encourages the community to help care for the region’s lakes and rivers.
