About Airborne Wandeltocht
Welcome to the Airborne Wandeltocht, the world's largest one-day memorial walk. This annual event takes place on the first Saturday of September in Oosterbeek, in commemoration of the Battle of Arnhem in 1944. The next walk will be held on September 7, 2024, and the pre-sale of start tickets will begin in May 2024.
During the walk, participants will have the opportunity to explore various routes and experience the historical significance of the area. The event is supported by the community and various organizations, including Scarabee, which organizes ArtBorne projects along the routes, showcasing the themes of freedom and remembrance through art.
