Airdrie Angels

Airdrie Angels Fastpitch Association (AAFA) is a volunteer-run girls’ softball club that has supported the Airdrie community since 1980. The association welcomes players aged 5 to 19 from Airdrie and surrounding areas, offering a fun, safe, and competitive environment for young athletes to learn and enjoy fastpitch softball. Its program serves multiple age divisions, from U9 through U17 and high school, with teams participating in the Girls Fastpitch League under the Calgary Minor Softball Association.

AAFA focuses on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and building lasting friendships, while fostering a lifelong love of the game. The club also supports coach education through the National Coaching Certification Program and provides resources for coaches, managers, and scorekeepers. Families can find registration information, schedules, policies, volunteer opportunities, financial and additional support resources, and field-booking information through the association. Airdrie Angels merchandise is also available for players and supporters. By combining organized competition with community involvement, AAFA helps young athletes grow both on and off the field.
