AirNav Ireland

AirNav Ireland is Ireland’s air navigation services provider, delivering air traffic management across 451,000 square kilometres of airspace. This airspace is a vital link for flights travelling between Europe and North America, and the organisation has supported aviation across the North Atlantic since 1936. Its services include air traffic control, en-route and terminal services, flight information, alerting and search and rescue, aeronautical information, and North Atlantic communications.

AirNav Ireland also provides flight-planning tools that allow pilots to file, amend, delay or cancel flight plans, alongside flight-planning login and weather information. Its aeronautical information services include NOTAMs and related operational resources. The organisation’s work is supported by ATM systems and technology, safety programmes, innovation projects and international industry partnerships.

Recognising aviation’s environmental impacts, AirNav Ireland is working to support a more sustainable industry. Its initiatives include continuous climb and descent operations, Dublin Point Merge, high-intensity runway operations and participation in European projects.
