Air Passenger Rights is an independent nonprofit organization of volunteers dedicated to turning helpless passengers into empowered travelers. Our vision is to create a traveling public that is aware of its rights and capable of enforcing them against airlines. Through education, advocacy, investigation, and litigation, we empower individuals with the knowledge and resources they need to navigate the complexities of air travel.
Our activities include educating passengers about their rights and how to enforce them, advocating for better consumer protection in air travel, investigating and exposing anomalies affecting travelers, and litigating to ensure compliance and transparency within the airline industry. We strive to hold airlines accountable for non-compliance, misinformation, and practices that jeopardize passenger safety. Our ultimate goal is to foster a fair and transparent travel experience for all passengers.
