Instead of asking guests to install an app or create an account, couples provide a QR code that guests scan to upload photos and videos through their web browser. Guests can use their phone’s regular camera, making participation straightforward for people of different ages. Couples can share printable table cards featuring personal QR codes and download the collected files in bulk.
The service offers Free, Basis, Premium and Deluxe options. Paid plans provide different storage limits, image quality and retention periods, with features such as slideshows, video uploads and individual colours available on selected tiers. Deluxe includes unlimited images in original quality, original-quality videos and storage for 24 months after the wedding. airphoto states that galleries are private and GDPR-compliant, and that photos and videos are stored for at least 12 months, depending on the plan. The company reports more than 16,900 couples have used the service.
