Airport Regions Council

Airport Regions Council (ARC) is a Brussels-based, member-driven association representing regional and local authorities across Europe that have an international airport within or near their territories. It works at the intersection of regional development and aviation, helping members balance the benefits of airports with their potential impacts on citizens and communities. ARC supports the development of sustainable, innovative, and inclusive airport regions through collaboration and shared expertise.

Members can connect with regions and airports across Europe, exchange experience, and access research, case studies, and analysis on airport-region issues. ARC also represents regional perspectives in European Union policy discussions concerning airports and air transport, and enables members to participate in collaborative EU initiatives, including Interreg and Horizon projects. Its activities include policy advocacy, knowledge sharing, publications, projects, and member services. ARC also hosts webinars on topics such as passenger intelligence, local employment opportunities linked to airport growth, and energy hubs.
