AirportsUK, the new name for the Airport Operators Association, is the trade association representing the interests of UK airports. It describes itself as the principal organisation engaging with the UK Government and regulatory authorities on airport matters, and as the voice of UK airports. Its mission is to influence governments, regulators and opinion formers in the UK and internationally, helping secure policy outcomes that support its vision for the sector.
The association works on issues including aviation security, economic development, airport operations, safety and environmental sustainability. Its membership brings together more than 50 airports and over 100 associate members, including suppliers from across the aviation sector. Members can access a directory and take part in events and forums, such as its security conference and working groups for public affairs, health and safety, and legal professionals.
