AirWürttemberg

AirWürttemberg is a free virtual airline founded in July 2023 and based in southern Germany. It brings flight-simulation enthusiasts together for realistic flying using real flight plans, a varied fleet and an active community. Members can fly with Microsoft Flight Simulator or X-Plane, using VATSIM or IVAO, with no minimum flight hours, attendance requirements or ongoing obligations. Applicants aged 16 and older can join through a short application, then access the airline’s terminal to book flights, view fleet information and track their statistics and progress.

The fleet includes 140 aircraft across short-haul, medium-haul, long-haul, general aviation and cargo categories, with individual registrations, locations and maintenance histories. AirWürttemberg also offers downloadable branded liveries for both supported simulators, including to non-members. Pilots are organized into regional and international divisions, each with its own community, home airports and events. Regular group flights, community gatherings and an annual in-person team meeting give members opportunities to connect. The airline provides an open knowledge base, member support through Discord and its own Stepclimb flight-tracking software.
