A.IT.A. Piemonte is a non-profit volunteer association that supports people living with aphasia and works to ease the difficulties the condition can create in everyday life. Based in Turin, the organisation promotes wellbeing, communication, intellectual and emotional development, social connection, and the civil rights of people with aphasia. It also encourages collaboration among healthcare professionals, families, friends, colleagues, and others involved in providing support.

The association offers regular Thursday gatherings for people with aphasia, caregivers, therapists, and friends, alongside cultural activities, cooking courses, and speech-therapy games designed to support rehabilitation through social participation and learning. It organises meetings, conferences, and social activities for families, and provides information to raise awareness of aphasia. A.IT.A. Piemonte also shares educational resources, including a downloadable booklet about the condition, and publishes news about local activities and events.

Individuals can join through annual membership options, and volunteers are welcomed, particularly those able to transport participants to activity locations. Donations help the association continue its work supporting people with aphasia and their families across Piemonte.
