Australian Independent Taekwon-Do Academy (AITA) is a community-focused martial arts school serving the NSW Central Coast for more than 20 years. With classes in Ettalong and Kariong, the academy welcomes beginners, experienced students and families, and offers a free first lesson. Its structured program supports students at every stage, from Kick-Start classes covering basic stances, blocks, kicks and dojang etiquette to intermediate training in patterns, kicking combinations and controlled sparring. Advanced Leadership classes develop technical skill, discipline and the ability to mentor junior students.
AITA’s approach combines Taekwon-Do training with fitness, self-defence, confidence and character development. Qualified instructors aim to provide a supportive, inclusive environment and adapt teaching to students’ individual needs. The academy also offers a clear progression curriculum and is affiliated with One Legacy Taekwon-Do, connecting members with wider training and competition opportunities. Monthly options include one or two sessions per week, with family memberships available. Classes are held at Blackwall Girl Guides Hall in Ettalong and Kariong Progress Hall.
