He focuses on reliability, performance, and uptime, and supports incident response with rapid recovery and thorough post-incident reviews.

Matharu’s technical expertise includes AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD automation using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Buildkite. His broader toolkit covers cloud networking, identity and access management, zero-trust security, databases, messaging systems, and observability platforms including Grafana, Loki, and Mimir. Alongside hands-on engineering, he translates complex architecture into practical strategies for business leaders and brings development, security, and operations teams together. He has led cross-functional engineering teams across India and Hong Kong, partnering with developers and business stakeholders to identify risks early and build stable systems. Matharu holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Mumbai University.
