Ajitama Ramen Bistro is a Lisbon restaurant dedicated to authentic, handcrafted ramen inspired by Japanese culinary traditions. Founded in 2015 by António Carvalhão and João Azevedo Ferreira, after their years living in Asia sparked a passion for Japan’s popular noodle dish, the brand began as Portugal’s first ramen supper club. Today, Ajitama serves freshly made noodles produced daily and natural broths slow-cooked for up to 20 hours.
Its ramen is prepared without artificial additives or shortcuts, following Japanese standards. The menu also features gyozas, highlighted through the restaurant’s Slurp Society membership offer. Customers can enjoy the restaurant in person or order through delivery and takeaway services, and gift cards are available.
Ajitama’s Lisbon location is on Avenida Duque de Loulé, near Marquês de Pombal and Picoas metro stations. The bistro is open every day from noon until midnight and accepts reservations. Its newsletter shares news, updates and exclusive offers with subscribers
