PiChiOmega

Pi Chi Omega is the West Memphis, Arkansas chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Chartered on June 6, 1987, the chapter has served West Memphis and surrounding communities for more than thirty years, carrying forward the sorority’s commitment to service and sisterhood. Its work is guided by the organization’s initiatives: strengthening sisterhood, empowering families, building economic wealth, enhancing the environment, advocating for social justice, and uplifting local communities.

The chapter organizes community service projects, programs, and events, and collaborates with community partners to support sustainable efforts. Its activities include 870 Day, Ready Day, Founders Day, Pink Goes Red, the Pink & Green Ball, Thanksgiving Caregivers Impact Day, and the Twenty Pearls Pageant. Through the annual Twenty Pearls Scholarship Pageant, Pi Chi Omega has provided approximately $200,000 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors to help with college education costs. The chapter shares information about its history, programs, events, officers, and members through its website, and invites visitors to learn more about its community work.
