Akademia Chemika

Akademia Chemika is a children’s science education provider based in Osielsko, about five kilometres from Bydgoszcz, Poland. Founded and led by Agata Maj, a chemistry graduate with more than ten years of teaching experience, the academy helps preschool- and school-age children explore chemistry through hands-on activities, play and experimentation. Its mini laboratory offers regular group classes and interactive workshops, where young participants investigate chemical reactions and processes in a safe, supervised setting.

The academy also delivers workshops at preschools and primary schools, bringing the necessary materials and equipment to each venue. Families can book chemistry-themed birthday parties, while children and students can receive individual chemistry tutoring tailored to their level and learning needs. Other offerings include sensory activities for toddlers, seasonal workshops and animations. Across its programs, Akademia Chemika aims not only to teach chemistry but also to encourage curiosity, logical thinking and lasting interest in science. Its work has been recognised with an Orły Edukacji award.
