Akademia Przyrody is a private nature- and ecology-focused preschool in Poznań, Poland, designed for children to learn through contact with nature and exploration of the world around them. The preschool also has an inclusive branch and welcomes children from Poznań and nearby communities, including Baranowo, Kiekrz, Suchy Las, Rokietnica and Tarnowo Podgórne. Its approach combines a broad educational programme with support for children’s physical, emotional and social development.
The school highlights its qualified, passionate staff and offers therapies for children with formal assessments or recommendations. Children can take part in a range of additional activities, including social skills training, English, movement classes, rhythmics, art, cooking, djembe drumming, Kamishibai storytelling and flower arranging. The programme also includes a simultaneous-sequential approach to learning to read.
Many activities are offered at no additional charge. Akademia Przyrody accepts children from age two; children aged two to two and a half may join its daily caregiver programme. The preschool is open Monday to Friday, from 7 a.
