Welcome to Akademihotellet, our cozy and personal little hotel located in the heart of Uppsala's historic, cultural, and academic quarter, nestled between Uppsala Cathedral and Uppsala Castle. Stay in our homely hotel rooms with charming decor and details dating back to the 1930s when the building was constructed. The rooms offer views of Pelle Svanslös Quarter and the cathedral.

In several of our rooms, you can learn more about Uppsala's history and its prominent figures; we call them Rooms with History. Akademihotellet offers 43 hotel rooms, including family rooms with kitchens, and a furnished apartment for monthly rentals. We also have bright and beautiful conference rooms for up to 50 people.

Additionally, we have a cozy sauna with showers and a small relaxation room for your own workout. Temporary renovation is taking place from August 7th to August 20th, where we are expanding our kitchen and dining area to accommodate more guests. The dining area with a bar will move to the conference room Prefekten and will offer a view of our lovely inner courtyard and Uppsala Cathedral.

During the renovation, a temporary kitchen and breakfast area will be provided, so we will remain open as usual throughout August. Join us for Uppsala's Cultural Night on September 9th, 2023, and experience music, art, dance, literature, and fun activities for children on the streets, squares, and cultural venues of Uppsala. At Akademihotellet, we will have a craft market, art exhibition, author corner, bar, and café.

The bar will be open from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. We offer a variety of room types to suit your needs. Our Superior Rooms provide extra comfort with a beautiful view of the courtyard and Uppsala Cathedral or Uppsala Castle.

The rooms feature a 160 cm double bed, TV, desk, and a cozy seating area by the window. Standard Rooms come with two 90 cm beds (which can be separated), TV, armchair, and desk. They overlook Pelle Svanslös Quarter.

Our Deluxe Single Rooms offer a spacious 140 cm bed, perfect for one person or a cozy stay for two. The room includes an armchair, TV, desk, and bathroom with a shower. The rooms overlook Pelle Svanslös Quarter or the courtyard.

If you prefer a budget-friendly option, our Economy Rooms offer a 140 cm bed for 1-2 people, TV, desk, armchair, and complimentary bathrobes. The toilet with a sink is available in the room, and the shower room is located in the corridor. These rooms are located on the top floor with charming sloping ceilings.

For families, we have convenient family rooms that can accommodate up to 4 people. The room features a double bed (2x90 cm) and a bunk bed for children, armchair, TV, desk, and a large accessible bathroom with a shower. If you need temporary accommodation for a few months, we offer a furnished apartment called Lägenhet 100 on the lower level.

The apartment measures 48 sqm and includes a separate bedroom with two 90 cm beds, an integrated living room and kitchen, bathroom with a shower, wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV, desk, sofa bed, and kitchen equipment for 4 people.
