AKEMI FUKUOJI

Akemi Fukuoji is a renowned artist and jewelry designer who made her debut in May 2021 after years of deep involvement in the art and gemology sectors. With a background shaped by her jeweler father, Akemi studied at the Gemological Institute of America in Los Angeles and became a certified gemologist and diamond appraiser. From 1980 to 1996, she managed Japanese artist Kazuhiko Fukuoji, mentoring aspiring artists and facilitating various art projects.

In 1997, she founded the distinctive jewelry brand AHKAH and launched “filrouge” in 2018 to support artistic endeavors. Akemi’s works are characterized by a focus on the inner world and tranquility, expressed through three-dimensional sculptures and paintings that prominently feature gemstones, crystals, and minerals. Her art embodies a fusion of natural beauty and emotional depth, inviting viewers to explore their own meditative spaces.
