Akos Arms is a Pennsylvania-based firearms manufacturer founded in 2021 by Matthew Herd. The company develops distinctive designs inspired by historical firearms, combining familiar influences with features suited to modern sporting rifle enthusiasts. Its first design, the Baza, is a modern interpretation of the De Lisle Carbine, drawing inspiration also from the Swiss K31 and AR-15. Akos Arms emphasizes accessory compatibility and says its products are crafted at its facility in Pennsylvania.
The Baza is offered in .45 ACP, including braced and Picatinny rail mount pistol versions. The company provides product information and answers to common questions through its Baza FAQ and product listings, along with FFL manuals and details about shipping, returns, and other policies. Customers can contact Akos Arms by phone, email, or through its website, and follow the brand on social media. Akos Arms also showcases its products at shooting events, including the 3 Man 3 Gun Match in New Holland, Pennsylvania.
