About Akoya Behavioral Health
Michigan area, we specialize in providing comprehensive and effective behavioral health services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other behavioral challenges. Our mission is to empower children to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.
Using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a results-focused method of therapy, we aim to increase desired behaviors and decrease unwanted behaviors in children with ASD. With a deep understanding of each individual's behavior, we work to identify why certain behaviors occur and how they are influenced by the child's environment. By tailoring our approach to meet each child's unique needs, we ensure that progress is made at their pace.
Our team consists of highly skilled and trained Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBTs) and Board Certified Behavioral Analysts (BCBAs), who provide expert guidance and support throughout the therapy process. We believe in involving parents as active participants, empowering them to contribute to their child's goals and success.
ABA therapy can be conducted at home, in our center, or in your child's school, offering flexibility and convenience. We provide an initial evaluation session to discuss goals and insurance options, followed by ongoing sessions that track progress and make necessary adjustments. Our dedicated staff ensures that every session is positive and enjoyable, creating an environment where your child can thrive and look forward to each session.
With our short-term investment in ABA therapy, your child can gain lifelong skills in social interaction, learning, communication, and self-care. On average, many children are able to phase out of ABA therapy within 18-24 months, achieving their goals and graduating the program.
At Akoya Behavioral Health, we are committed to supporting your child and your entire family on your journey towards success. Reach out to us today to learn more about how we can help your child unlock their full potential.
