Atletický klub Slávia UK Bratislava is a long-established athletics club in Bratislava and one of Slovakia’s most successful. The club develops athletes of all ages, combining performance and elite athletics with children’s sport, youth development, and talent identification. Its athletes represent both the club and Slovakia in competition.
Training is organized for children from around age five, with groups progressing from introductory children’s athletics and general preparation to beginner and advanced competitive athletics. Sessions are led by coaches on several weekdays, with training facilities including the athletics stadium at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Comenius University at Lanfranconi. The club also offers parents strength, endurance, and running training.
Alongside regular coaching, Slávia UK Bratislava organizes competitions and community activities, including cross-country events, and has hosted a daytime athletics and sports camp for children aged six to twelve. Families can find training-group information and apply to join through the club.
