Akvakus

Akvakus is a Czech e-commerce shop focused on freshwater shrimp, mini aquariums and the care of small aquatic animals. Drawing on more than 20 years of aquarium experience, the family-run business has sold animals from its own breeding operation for over a decade and shares practical information about aquarium keeping and shrimp care. Its articles draw on the experience of Czech and international aquarists, as well as the owners’ breeding work in Brno.

The online shop offers aquarium shrimp, fish and other aquatic animals, alongside plants and products for aquarium maintenance. Its supplies include basic and specialist feeds, vitamins, food for young shrimp, colour-enhancing foods, minerals and water-treatment products, CO2 accessories, equipment and shrimp-care supplements. The catalogue also features items such as algae balls and live-food or animal-raising products. Akvakus operates exclusively online and does not have a public retail store, though customers can arrange personal collection. The site provides shopping, delivery and payment information, along with educational content for aquarium enthusiasts.
