Akvárium Pavel Růžička is a Czech aquarium business combining the cultivation of aquatic plants with fish breeding. Aquarium keeping began as Pavel Růžička’s hobby and became his profession in 2001. The business breeds a wide variety of fish for wholesale customers, while its aquarium plants are sold to individual customers through an online shop.

The shop offers aquarium plants and related products, including plant nutrition, fish foods, and specialist foods for shrimp and crayfish. Its range also features items such as Cladophora aegagropila moss balls and heat packs for transporting live plants. Customers can choose from delivery options including Zásilkovna collection points, as well as personal collection.

The business draws on extensive experience shipping plants in cold weather. Orders are insulated, and during freezing conditions may include a heat pack to help protect plants in transit; the pack is free for orders over 500 CZK, with a small charge for lower-value orders. Plants are supplied with plant passports, and the website also shares aquarium advice and updates through its blog.
