Akwaba Mousso | Abidjan Abidjan is an NGO dedicated to supporting survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) in Côte d'Ivoire. The organization offers a holistic approach to survivors, providing free and confidential medical, psychosocial, legal, judicial, and professional support. The aim is to empower survivors to reclaim their lives and assert their fundamental rights.

Akwaba Mousso also provides safe accommodation for the most vulnerable survivors and their children in a secure building. Additionally, the organization strives to change social norms and policies surrounding GBV, while also producing knowledge on tools and methodologies to improve holistic support for survivors and sexual and reproductive rights and health (SRHR). The vision is to create a space where survivors of GBV in Côte d'Ivoire can receive adequate support for physical and emotional healing, while also equipping them for a brighter future.

Recently, the organization opened a shelter and day care center for women affected by domestic, family, psychological, or sexual violence in Abidjan. Akwaba Mousso is currently hiring a Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of the organization's activities
