About Alabaster Pizzo
Alabaster Pizzo is a talented comic artist and illustrator based in Los Angeles, originally from New York. A graduate of the School of Visual Arts, she gained recognition for her work with "Mimi and the Wolves," featured in the esteemed Best American Comics 2015 anthology. Pizzo has created a diverse array of comics, including the widely serialized "Ralphie and Jeanie" on Vice.
com and "Hellbound Lifestyle" published by Retrofit Comics. Her artistic journey includes contributions to animation, working as a background artist for Shadowmachine Animation's "Tuca & Bertie" and storyboarding for Cartoon Network’s "Summer Camp Island. " In 2021, she expanded her portfolio with "Prayer to Saint Therese," published by Perfectly Acceptable Press.
