About Reducing Maternal Mortality Rate in Nigeria
Alabiamo Maternal and Child Wellbeing Foundation (AMCWF) is a non-profit organization that strives to reduce maternal and infant mortality globally, one community at a time. Since its establishment in 2016, AMCWF has been dedicated to making a difference in marginalized and underserved communities. The foundation's diverse team of volunteers and staff, each bringing unique expertise and resources, enables them to consistently achieve their goals year after year.
AMCWF aims to end preventable maternal and child mortality by addressing various barriers such as cost, access, language, culture, religion, illiteracy, and poverty. They provide free routine antenatal, postnatal care, immunization, and family planning services to impoverished, hard-to-reach, marginalized, and vulnerable communities in Nigeria. The core values of AMCWF are Accountability, Service, Integrity, and Reliability. Through the collective efforts of their team, including skilled health workers and volunteers, AMCWF continues to impact and save lives.
