Alam Siak Lestari is a community-owned company located in Siak, Indonesia, dedicated to preserving peatlands. Our mission focuses on safeguarding peat ecosystems by establishing value-added industries for peat-friendly commodities, designed with flexible structures that accommodate community ownership. Our innovative solutions are driven by the need to protect and conserve the peat ecosystem in Siak and its surroundings, acting as a carbon sink and preventing peat fires.

Alam Siak Lestari develops value-added products based on peat-friendly commodities under its own brand and provides research support to partners. We also offer research support for the development of derivative products from peat-friendly commodities. Our support aims to utilize accessible technology, ensuring simplicity and affordability for community-based businesses to adopt in their practices. Through collaborative R&D processes directly with communities, we define 'accessibility,' allowing partners to benefit from both results and learning from the co-creation process.
