The Oficina Intergrupal Hispana de Al-Anon in Phoenix, Arizona, serves Spanish-speaking Al-Anon Family Groups across the Phoenix area and surrounding communities. Its mission is to support groups registered with Al-Anon’s World Service Office by sharing information in Spanish, attending area meetings, meeting monthly with alternate group representatives, distributing literature, and planning growth initiatives and events.

The office helps people find nearby meetings and learn what to expect when attending for the first time. Al-Anon meetings offer mutual support for relatives and friends affected by another person’s drinking. Members share as equals, and newcomers may speak, ask questions, or simply listen. The program is not affiliated with a religion or other outside organization, has no membership fee, and is supported by voluntary contributions. Its approach is based on the Twelve Steps and the principles of anonymity, shared experience, and personal growth. Through its directory, contacts, public events, and educational resources, the intergroup connects individuals with local Spanish-language meetings and helps member groups carry out their service work.
