Alas para el Campo is a collaborative initiative involving the German Cooperation for Sustainable Development (GIZ), the National Commission for Protected Natural Areas (CONANP), and BASF, dedicated to promoting sustainable agricultural practices in Mexico. The program focuses on the preservation of vital pollinators, such as monarch butterflies and nectar-feeding bats, which play a crucial role in the country's agriculture—over 85% of crops depend directly on pollination.

Through working with farmers, Alas para el Campo aims to implement best practices that enhance biodiversity and improve community awareness regarding the significance of pollinators.
